Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 egg and 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking powder, pinch of salt
- Royal icing to decorate
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla
- Mix in flour, baking powder and salt, chill 1 hour
- Roll out, cut shapes and bake at 350°F / 175°C for 8 minutes
- Cool fully and decorate with icing
